Eng. Fatma Bazargan, is currently the Manager of Research and Analysis section at the UAE National Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT). Her subject matter expertise lies in: Research & Analysis of Security Technologies, Information Security Management, Network Security and Education & Awareness. Ms. Bazargan's recent achievement 07/2008 was establishing, implementing and successfully launching the aeCERT Project as the Project Lead, she has been a prominent speaker at the event. Additionally, over time she has been the first UAE National Female who has been certified as the Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since May 2006 and is currently an active member in technical & national committees and well-known taskforces. |
Occasionally, Ms. Bazargan speaks in various conferences and seminars nationally, regionally and internationally in fields of her subject matter expertise and she is regularly quoted in media. Eng. Fatma has earned her Masters of Science Degree in Computer Systems Security with Merit from the University of Glamorgan, UK in 2004 and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, UAE since 2002. Eng. Fatma is currently planning to pursue her Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration (EMBA) from Zayed University, UAE. |
